I am most proud of meaningful work I can do at the firm. Being able to reimagine organizations as future digital-savvy leaders and make them successful is the best possible reward.
What did you do before joining McKinsey?
After graduating with a degree in business engineering, I spent a few years in consultancy, focusing on IT and digital transformations in the financial sector. My goal was to build businesses by bringing together the capabilities needed to help banks grow and thrive in the digital age.
Since I joined McKinsey, I mainly focused on organizational and agile transformations.
What made you choose McKinsey?
I applied to McKinsey to broaden my horizons and for the powerful culture that McKinsey offers. After my interviews, I felt a great rapport with the people I’d met, and I was sure people would genuinely support and care about me . All the interviewers spent significant time to deeply understand who I was as well as my aspirations.
How do you maintain a sensible work-life balance?
I continuously reflect on my priorities in life by asking myself: “Where do I find the most motivation?”, ”what resonates for me?”, and “what do I want to change?”
For example, to me, exercising and reading books are a “must-do”, rather than a ”should-do,” so I make proper time for those activities.
Therefore, I always have a book with me during travel time so that I can read at least one chapter.
I see those personal moments as investments because a healthy body means a fresh mind, and this helps me function better and complete tasks in less time.
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of meaningful work I can do at the firm. Being able to reimagine organizations as future digital-savvy leaders and make them successful is the best possible reward. Recently, I helped an Asian bank to design and implement a digital factory with the purpose to evolve a digital culture.
After few months, the digital factory has scaled to more than 100 people with the best digital talents from the region and was rewarded for the quality of the digital applications delivered to the customers.
I was really proud to be part of that journey and be able to express my passion by improving my client’s performance.
