Memorable experiences

I recently supported a public-sector client that wants to help a city become a center for science development and innovation. We mobilized and interviewed more than 100 top scientists around the world. We even invited a Nobile Prize winner to visit the client. We helped the client identify its areas of scientific focus and the steps to make it a reality.

Inspiring colleagues

One of my many inspiring colleagues is also the best mentor I have had. He taught me to always stay true to who you are. He was among the first to come out in the early days, and he has been leading the firm’s effort to advocate for diversity and inclusion ever since. He is true, not only when it comes to his own identity but also when it comes to clients. From him, I learned to only serve clients that we truly believe we can help and add value.

Work-life balance

McKinsey suits me because I like to be very focused during the work week. What I do need is a short break between client projects. I love to travel. McKinsey’s collaborative working model allows me to step away from work for vacations.
