The culture within McKinsey encourages both personal and professional development, which creates an environment with opportunities to learn and grow in areas that you are interested in and passionate about.
Every individual possesses their own unique strengths and capabilities
Before I joined McKinsey, I participated in different recruiting events including our personal development program. Through these events, I met many inspiring people with different backgrounds. They taught me that you cannot be the best at everything, but everyone is the best at something. When we bring that knowledge together, we will be able to solve the most complicated challenges. This is the core of McKinsey.
Your chosen family
The first word that comes to my mind when thinking of McKinsey is family. We grow a bit together while working together. Being a part of McKinsey is much more than a job. It is equally all the experiences we get besides work. When joining the firm, you choose to develop yourself, and you do it with people around you, who want to do the same. Spending so much time together solving complex problems results in friends for life.
