McKinsey Denmark is a relatively small office of about 230 people, and you will find yourself welcomed into an inclusive, friendly atmosphere with a strong and supportive community. We are committed to cultivating a professional, challenging environment and a rewarding place to work, with many personal and professional development opportunities for our people.
We employ approximately 180 consultants, with an additional 50 support staff. Beyond our work, there is a close-knit and lively social life in the office. We gather frequently for social activities, retreats, and sports events. Spouses are often invited to these events, so there are plenty of opportunities to get to know your colleagues and their families. In addition, all teams regularly plan team events and dinners together.
Outside of the office, we connect with the communities in which we live and work, engaging with leading academic, civic, and not-for-profit institutions to help support and sustain them. For example, we have a long-standing relationship with The Mary Foundation (HRH Crown Princess Mary’s Foundation).
Through our team-based approach and commitment to mentorship, you will have unequalled opportunities to grow your career. Working in small, diverse teams, you will be given significant client responsibilities from day one that will help you develop valuable leadership and analytical skills. As you progress in your career, you will take part in learning programs designed to help build upon the skills you will need in the next stages of your career at McKinsey. Senior McKinsey consultants and external faculty, experts, and peers will participate in your growth all along the way and provide strength-based feedback and coaching. In your first 2 years, you will go through several weeks of training on basic consulting, advanced problem solving, leadership, and client-relationship skills.
