Venkat is a leader in McKinsey's healthcare practice, and leads the Firm’s work for health systems, health services and health-tech entities in India. He helps leading organizations in the industry improve their performance across growth, operations, customer and staff experience, innovation and digital transformation. He previously led McKinsey’s provider digital and analytics transformation practice in North America.
Since joining McKinsey in 2011, Venkat has served clients across Asia, North America, Europe, and the Middle East. His work has spanned the full continuum of healthcare organizations including payors, providers, life sciences entities, healthcare services and health-tech companies, governmental organizations, and investors.
Examples of Venkat’s recent client work include supporting a prominent health system in driving an enterprise transformation program focused on improving patient access, growth and operational performance using digital and advanced analytics; working with a provincial government in developing a holistic healthcare and healthcare technology strategy; and shaping the product and go-to-market strategy for a leading technology company’s health-tech portfolio.
In addition to client service, Venkat has spoken and written extensively on topics such as innovation in healthcare, digital health and consumerism.
Prior to joining McKinsey, Venkat held engineering and leadership positions in software product development.
