ACHS
Our collaboration
We have partnered with ACHS to deploy task-sharing to increase capacity of the mental health workforce in two municipalities in Santiago, Chile. This will serve as a lighthouse proof of concept for how to ultimately scale task-sharing as a model for increasing access and improving outcomes for target populations (e.g., children and youth, workers) at a global level. We have also collaborated to perform a multi-year longitudinal meta-analysis of ISTAS data alongside data from MHI’s 2023 Employee Holistic Health survey to understand the current state and drivers of employee health and well-being in Chile. ACHS (the Chilean Safety Association) is a private, non-profit organization that offers risk prevention programs and occupational accident coverage to affiliated workers and employers in Chile. As thought leaders in the mental health space in Chile, ACHS pioneered a collaborative care model that aims to increase access to treatment and has recently convened more than 500 public and private sector stakeholders to discuss the state of mental health more broadly.
