Since 2014, Luis has led McKinsey’s Monterrey office, where he helps consumer-facing companies—particularly in operations, packaged goods and retail—set strategy and boost performance, while working with local conglomerates to optimize their business portfolios.

- leading the growth-strategy development for a consumer-packaged-goods company, with the objective of doubling the value of the company over five years
- leading the design and implementation of a channel strategy for a beverage company in Colombia, Ecuador
- supporting the integration of a global company and its acquired company in South America, with operations in four countries
- crafting the design of a route-to-market strategy for a carbonated-soft-drink company in Brazil
- leading the complete organizational redesign (corporate center and countries) of a beverage company in Latin America to increase efficiency and effectiveness, with a focus on commercial capabilities
- helping a consumer-packaged-goods company in Latin America to develop its strategy regarding regulatory issues
- assisting an alcoholic beverage company in Ecuador to consolidate its third-party distributors’ network
