Abdulkadir is one of the leaders of the firm’s Operations Practice and procurement work in Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EEMA). Since joining McKinsey in 2011, he has served companies and conglomerates engaged in telecommunications, energy, petrochemicals, retail, and metal processing industries across a wide geographic region expanding to Turkey, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Abdulkadir has led different programs in the fields of strategy, cost, operational transformation, sales force transformation, zero-based productivity, and identifying new business opportunities.
Examples of Abdulkadir’s recent engagements include the following:
- leading the implementation of a zero-based productivity approach in one of the leading holdings in the EEMA region
- leading the operational and sales-driven transformation of a telecom operator with a focus on profit growth
- leading the transformation of a petrochemical company's operations and procurement activities
- designing and implementing the centralizing procurement operations of an energy holding
- supporting the corporate sales force transformation of a telecom operator
- designing a governance structure with companies and a new investment approach for a holding company
Before joining McKinsey, Abdulkadir worked as a consultant in the investment banking sector for M&A for four years, and has worked in the software field.
