Arno is a leader in the Financial Services and Public and Social Sector Practices, focused on private and public insurers. He helps leading multiline insurers, mutual insurance corporations, and social security institutions across Europe meet their strategic and operational goals. Specifically, he supports his clients in the design of their growth strategies, bottom-line optimization, and large-scale transformations.

Arno is also a knowledgeable leader in health insurance and healthcare financing, and has advised several companies and governments on health system financing reform, innovation in customer experience, the use of data for improved medical cost control, provider negotiations, and claims management.

Arno has longstanding experience in improving the use of public finances through his work with multiple ministries of finance. His focus areas include the budgeting processes, spend reviews, procurement, and capital expenditure optimization programs.

Previously based in McKinsey’s Dubai office, Arno is currently based in Paris. He leverages a strong international background having worked in Germany, Africa, and the Middle East.

Arno started his career with AOK in Germany. He then joined Roland Berger’s health insurance division, and later helped to build up the international health segment for Munich Re. Prior to joining McKinsey in 2012, he held management positions with Munich Re’s subsidiary in the United Arab Emirates.
