Cenk is a data scientist who brings his passion for AI, machine learning, and decision science to his work helping organizations undergo end-to-end tech-driven enterprise overhauls. He has more than two decades of experience helping companies in a range of industries, including financial services, travel, logistics, energy, and infrastructure. He finds joy in helping companies use advanced analytics tools to dramatically improve performance. To that end, he focuses especially on the development of decision support solutions utilizing predictive and prescriptive analytics, combinatorial decision theory, simulation, and optimization.
Examples of Cenk’s recent work include the following:
- leading the development of customer-intelligence model for a global agricultural company, including models for customer growth, cross sell, and upsell using supervised learning
- designing and developed optimal schedules for a professional sports league, including a multicriteria optimization model to consider constraints such as travel, television schedules, and team preferences
- building a massive product development and launch schedule for an aerospace and defense company, including a manufacturing sequence involving more than 50,000 subassemblies
Prior to joining McKinsey, Cenk stood up the transportation and logistics analytics practice for a global consultancy, and coled the global analytics practice of a major advisory firm.
