Christian leads our work in strategy and corporate finance in healthcare in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Since joining the firm in 2008, Christian has served healthcare clients across the value chain in industries including pharma, generics, biotech, medical products, wholesale, pharmacies, providers, and payers as well as private equity.

Christian has broad experience designing and implementing holistic performance transformations leading to sustainable improvements. He works with many companies to develop strategies for growth leveraging digital and analytics.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Christian was a researcher at the Institute of Neuropathology at the University Hospital in Zurich, where his work focused on prions and Creutzfeldt-Jakob-disease. With a PhD in biology and a diploma in business administration, he has published 14 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
