Hamza is a leader in McKinsey’s Growth, Marketing & Sales Practice in the UK and Ireland. He advises leading organizations across Europe and the Middle East - driving commercial excellence results; translating innovation into business value through launching new products, services, and channels; and empowering his clients to build effective teams and organizations for the future.

He is a frequent speaker and writer on growth and innovation themes—including delivering talks at Vivatech and Mobile World Congress; serving as jury member at Cannes Lions and final round judge for Effies, and more.

  • defining growth and innovation strategies (new market, new segment, new products and services, new channel) for multiple organizations across sectors and regions
  • delivering growth transformations for multiple organizations, focused on analytics-driven improvements to marketing, sales, and pricing programs
  • delivering e-commerce transformations at multiple global consumer-goods organizations, including defining the global channel strategy and financial ambition, developing the value proposition, delivering quick-wins through targeted digital marketing and sales sprints, designing the agile operating model, and launching transformation governance to scale the impact
  • delivering a digital transformation at a global telecommunications company, including overall ambition to capture value in the amount of 4-5 billion euros, deploying an agile-at-scale organization to more than 4,000 employees globally, and delivering several successful pilots focused on digital marketing, e-commerce, and CRM acceleration
  • designing ecosystem-led innovation strategies for several organizations, prioritizing opportunities beyond the “core” business, assessing customer engagement and value-creation levers, defining partnership strategy, and launching new business and strategic partnerships
  • collaborating with multiple public sector innovation entities across Europe and the Middle East on scaling critical programs and initiatives

Before joining McKinsey, Hamza worked at a multinational consumer financial services company as a corporate account manager. He is passionate about using the power of technology to drive positive social change and serves on the board of a mental health-focused startup in Pakistan.
