Since joining McKinsey, Patrick has worked exclusively within the automotive, transport, and industrial sectors, serving a broad range of organizations, especially on projects related to vehicle electrification. He serves as a global leader on this issue as part of the McKinsey Center for Future Mobility. In this role, Patrick has led research and client service on electrification projects across the value chain, including deep modeling of global electric-vehicle (EV) markets, consumer trends and demand, EV-market economics, OEM and supplier strategies, battery technology, and charging infrastructure—all placed in context with other automotive megatrends, such as autonomous vehicles, shared mobility, connectivity, and urban mobility.

Patrick has actively supported over 100 clients, including established automotive OEMs, EV start-ups, large-truck OEMs, tier-one suppliers, private-equity firms, large investment funds, utilities, battery makers, and energy companies, on EV issues.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Patrick worked at a top-tier automotive manufacturer, serving in strategy, marketing, engineering, and manufacturing roles.
