He serves clients in the chemical, metals, and mining industries in Asia–Pacific, the CIS, Europe, and Turkey. His particular focus is operational transformations, including equipment-reliability improvement, production and supply-chain transformation, infrastructure development, and capital optimization.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Sergey worked for a major international manufacturing company.
