Teju leads the Waltham Client Capabilities Hub, including more than 350 professionals belonging to over 30 teams across industries, functions, and cross-cutting capabilities. Colleagues at the hub are part of global teams serving clients primarily in North America through distinctive knowledge, assets, and expertise. Teju brings these teams together with a strategic direction to become a hub of disruptive and cutting-edge capabilities. He hosts forums for these teams to share knowledge and best practices and to identify cross-cutting capabilities to incubate and grow.
Teju is passionate about innovation. He has built a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship through initiatives that deliberately aim at surfacing new capabilities to test and scale. He connects Waltham to similar capabilities hubs around the globe to help cross-pollinate tested capabilities from one region to another. He maintains relationships with world-class academic institutions, start-up accelerators, and technology companies in the Greater Boston area to collaborate on specific capability-building efforts.
Teju creates a positive and diverse work environment for the professionals in Waltham. He partners with operational leaders on community, local learning, recruiting, and diversity initiatives to create a strong culture of cohesion and collaboration where individuals thrive and grow.
Teju also leads the geospatial-analytics capability of McKinsey. He joined the firm in 2008 as a research analyst with the geospatial analytics team and grew as an expert deploying the analytics capabilities to more than 100 clients globally. Working closely with leaders across different practices, he built many of the current geospatial capabilities of the firm and has scaled the team from five people to more than 35 global practitioners serving over 500 clients each year.
