Since joining McKinsey, Amanda has focused on supporting retail, CPG, and B2B2C clients to drive commercial transformations through quantitative analysis and data-driven strategy development. Amanda has worked deeply with clients across the US, South America, and APAC.

Amanda is a lead expert in McKinsey’s omnichannel strategy work, having conducted more than 100 engagements focused on geographic market sizing and potential for physical and digital channels. She is passionate about working with consumer, retail, and financial services companies to build and accelerate their capabilities in data science and advanced analysis to support their strategic goals, and guiding market-leading retailers on corporate and digital strategy.

Some examples of Amanda’s recent work include:

  • developed a data-driven pricing transformation for a distributor using custom algorithms and refined business process to improve return on sales
  • led the transactional due diligence of multiple emerging consumer goods brands entering the Asian market, including food, beverage, and specialty products, and developed and tested cross-platform growth strategies
  • completed multiple corporate and PE-focused due diligences across e.g. variety retail, specialty retail, and grocery
  • led the revenue growth management effort in APAC for a leading beverage manufacturer, with the focus on design and implementation of pricing, promotion, and pack changes using robust commercial analytics
  • established end-to-end revenue growth and cost out transformation for a leading FMCG business unit in APAC to turnaround profit structure and trajectory
  • led pricing and promotions strategy work with a beauty manufacturer and retailer in South America to develop micro-segments and an operational change plan
