Albert is the managing partner of McKinsey’s Southeast Asia region, comprising offices in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. He is co-founder of our Asia Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) Hub and our Digital Transformation Services (DTS) service line.

In his client work, Albert works with global and domestic companies in high-tech and advanced industries to drive step-change performance improvements in revenue and bottom-line profitability through digital transformations. He advises companies in these industries on a range of issues pertaining to strategy, growth, operations, and globalization.

After beginning his career with McKinsey in the Los Angeles office, Albert moved to the Taiwan office, where he was the managing partner for eight years. His past leadership positions include heading McKinsey’s Industrials & Electronics Practice and co-leading the Transformation Practice in the Greater China Region. Albert was elected to serve two terms as Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan.

Committed to social impact, Albert supports initiatives that enhance educational access for underprivileged students in rural areas using digital technology.

Born in California, Albert is fluent in English and Chinese.
